The Memory Code Launched at Castlemaine Library
Lynne Kelly's latest book The Memory Code was launched to a crowd of 220 at Castlemaine Library recently.
A ground-breaking insight into the traditional Aboriginal memory technique that unlocks the secrets of Stonehenge, Easter Island and ancient monuments the world over, The Memory Code has gone into reprint just five days after its release.
The book was officially launched by Mt Alexander Shire Mayor, Cr Christine Henderson, who used Lynne's techniques to memorise the Latin names for flora whilst bushwalking, and encouraged the audience to use it to improve their memory in everyday life.
“We were thrilled by the response to the launch!” said Jess Saunders, Castlemaine Library Officer.
“This is a topic which many people find fascinating – Lynne's theory is both broad in its implication, yet able to be applied to everyday life as a memory tool that anyone can use.”
Lynne will soon travel to New York and London to launch her book, following on from her hugely successful local launch.
The Memory Code can be borrowed through Goldfields Libraries, along with other titles by Lynne Kelly.
