Events and Activities
A range of events and activities such as author talks, hands on creative and digital workshops (eg. photo books, robotics, paper marbling, book binding), Alzheimer’s Australia presentations, chess, bridge and Bendigo Volunteer Centre workshops. There are also plenty of activities to keep the grandkids busy!
IT Help
One-on-one IT help sessions to assist you with electronic devices and eResources. Tech Savvy Seniors, a short course to assist seniors to develop their computer skills, covering a variety of topics.
Family and Local History
Family history and local history research services and assistance and an extensive range of family history eResources, free for library members to access.
Book Clubs
A variety of Book Club resources are available to loan. The library can also put you in touch with an existing club to join.
Craft Groups
Craft groups can meet at the library tables, the Red Well Café (in Bendigo Library), or in a meeting room (chargeable).
eLibrary
The eLibrary offers a range of online newspapers, magazines, eBooks, eAudio books, puzzles, computer courses, language learning tools, music and film.
Cafe
The Red Well Café offers delicious lunch, coffee and snack options at Bendigo Library.
