Stephanie Alexander to Speak at Bendigo and Gisborne Libraries
Bendigo and Gisborne Libraries are thrilled to welcome renowned cook, restaurateur, food educator and food writer Stephanie Alexander to speak on Friday 7 April.
Stephanie is the author of 15 influential books, most recently The Cook’s Table, in which she shares 25 of her favourite menus for entertaining family and friends based on her own experiences and travels, and Kitchen Garden Companion: Cooking, which will be released in April.
“We are really looking forward to hearing Stephanie speak about her amazing career and in particular her new books, Kitchen Garden Companion: Cooking and The Cook’s Table,” said Tammy Higgs, Goldfields Library Corporation Programs and Events Coordinator.
Stephanie’s remarkable career in food and restaurants has spanned thirty years, and as well as authoring books she has also written hundreds of articles. Her fifth book, The Cook’s Companion, sold 500,000 copies.
Stephanie’s Gisborne presentation is now booked out, but there are limited spaces still available for the Bendigo presentation, which will be held on Friday 7 April from 1.30-2.30pm.
