Reboot your life this Mental Health Week
Are you curious to make sense of your life? Do you want to understand who you are and why you’re here? Do you need to make peace with the past and get re-energised for the future?
This Mental Health Week, Goldfields Libraries invites you to come along and hear from experienced psychologist Peter Quarry, who will explore these questions and more.
In his part memoir, part self-help guide, If I Were You, Peter skilfully deconstructs his own life, showing how you too can unpack and reboot yours. As sex and drug addicted ‘Pete’, he describes his sometimes shocking, always colourful background. Then, as internationally recognised psychologist PQ, he analyses it with compassion, yet clinical, objectivity. The result is a work of insight and practical wisdom.
In putting himself on his own couch, Peter will inspire you to reflect on your life’s journey and give you a toolkit to confront the curveballs inevitably heading your way.
“This is a great opportunity for people to come along and hear a world-class presenter share knowledge, wisdom and insights on people, behaviour and life,” says Tammy Higgs, Goldfields Libraries Programs and Events Coordinator.
“Peter is both entertaining and motivating, and will inspire positive reflections on living your best life.”
Peter will be presenting at libraries in Castlemaine, Bendigo, Woodend and Gisborne next week. All sessions are free, but bookings are required at www.goldfieldslibraries.com.
