Calling all LEGO Fans - Brick by Brick: Build Your Own National Capital
Have you ever dreamt of building your own City? Here is your chance!
The Brick by Brick: Build Your Own National Capital activity will be at the Bendigo Library for the next 3 months giving children and budding designers the opportunity to build their own national capital using LEGO™ bricks.
You can create your own national capital buildings or by using easy to follow instructions build some of Australia’s national institutions. With over 30,000 LEGO™ bricks to play with, the possibilities are endless.
Bendigo Library Branch Manager Vivien Newton expects the activity to very popular with LEGO fans of all ages.
“This will be a great activity for the whole family, we invite mums and dads and people of all ages to come along and have a go at the build sheets provided”
“Each session is for 2 hours giving people plenty of time to build some of Canberra’s most recognisable landmarks including The National War Memorial and Parliament House” Ms Newton says.
The activity will be at the Bendigo Library from 10 October 2014- 31 January 2015.
Sessions are free and will be held during the school term and summer school holidays.
During fourth term the activity will be open from 1-3pm for school bookings and 3-5pm for public sessions.
During the summer school holidays the activity will be open between 11-1pm and 1-3pm
