Microbusiness Pop-up Expo at Bendigo Library

Come and check out the marketplace! Local small business operators have banded together to present the first ever Microbusiness Pop-up Expo at Bendigo Library.

Businesses will be set up across the ground floor of the library showcasing their wares.  Whether you’re into cooking, gardening, crafting, bushfire preparedness or leisure – even the toughest shopaholic will find something to please!

“Many microbusinesses operate from home or in premises without shopfronts, and this gives operators the perfect opportunity to come face to face with the public in a friendly, supportive environment,” said Tammy Higgs, Goldfields Library Corporation Programs and Events Coordinator.

“The Expo is a great example of how the library’s role in the community is changing. We want to support the local economy and this is a very tangible way for Goldfields Libraries to engage with local small businesses,” said Mark Hands, Goldfields Library Corporation Acting CEO.

The Microbusiness Pop-Up Expo is part of the Bendigo Small Business Festival and will be held from Friday 25 – Thursday 31 August during library opening hours. Entry to the Expo is free of charge.
