Internet Streaming Session at Bendigo Library
TV and movie screening service Netflix recently went live in Australia. Bendigo library will be hosting an information session in April for people to find out about internet streaming sites.
Streaming services such as Netflix are subscription based services offering internet streaming of TV Shows, documentaries and feature films.
With a broadband connection subscribers are able to watch whatever they like whenever they like, on any device of their choice.
Adult Programs Coordinator at Bendigo Library, Sue Mooney says the free information session is suitable for people who want to find out more about new technologies and internet streaming.
“Some people are mystified by new technologies and unsure how they can access services like Netflix, Quickflix and Presto.
“Brenton Johnson from ‘Uptake Solutions’ will be coming along on the day and sharing his expertise about internet streaming and how to access the services currently available in Australia” Ms Mooney says.
Netflix information session will be held Thursday 23 April, 1.30-3pm at the Bendigo Library. For further information and bookings please visit www.ncgrl.vic.gov.au or phone 5449 278.
