Review of Mobile Library Services - Have Your Say
The Goldfields Library Corporation is inviting the community to have their say about library services in the Loddon Shire and City of Greater Bendigo throughout March.
The Corporation is currently reviewing how best to deliver services to remote and rural communities in a way that suits people’s needs.
Goldfields Library Corporation Manager of Community Partnerships and Engagement, Mark Hands says feedback from the community is important for future planning of services.
“When it comes to using library services and knowing what the community wants we need to hear from the people using our service and living in the area.
“We want to ensure we provide equitable services across our rural communities and to meet the needs of the majority of people in an affordable and effective way.
“We are providing a few ways for the community to talk to us, so if you’ve got something to say, we’ll have the chance to hear it” Mr Hands says.
Staff will be available on the Mobile Library to have a chat on Wednesday 18 March, Monday 23 March, Tuesday 24 March and Thursday 26 March.
Community members are also encouraged to complete an on-line survey during March at www.surveymonkey.com/s/ruralservice
