Library Lovers’ Day, also held on February 14 each year, celebrates all the work that libraries do for the community, and is especially important following the unsettling year that was 2020.

Goldfields Libraries are excited to announce a new and unique partnership that will support regional LGBTIQA+ youth in the Loddon Mallee region. Allied 4’em aims to engage young LGBTIQA+ people to share their stories in creative and empowering ways through youth-led theatre and innovative online engagement.

Goldfields Libraries are inviting community members to share their experience of life in lockdown. Contributions will be included in an online blog, printed book and a travelling exhibition.

Following recent announcements from the State Government, Goldfields Libraries are excited to once again be able to offer a pick-up service for reserved items.
Through ‘Reserve + Collect’, library members can reserve items online or over the phone and collect them at their local library when they’re ready.
