Christmas & New Year Opening Hours 2025-26

Our libraries will have altered opening hours over the Christmas/New Year period, so make sure to check when your local library is open and stock up on reading materials to avoid disappointment.

Wednesday 24 December

Open 9.30am-3pm: Bendigo, Gisborne, Kangaroo Flat, Kyneton, Romsey and Woodend Libraries.
Open 9.30am-12pm: Heathcote Library.
Open 10am-3pm: Castlemaine Library.

Closed: Bendigo Regional Archives Centre (BRAC) and Eaglehawk Library.

Thursday 25 December

Closed: Christmas Day Public Holiday.

Friday 26 December

Closed: Boxing Day Public Holiday.

Saturday 27 December

Open 9.30am-2.30pm: Bendigo Library.

Last Reserve + Collect 2025:

First Reserve + Collect 2026:

Note:  Our Axedale agency offers a Reserve + Collect service. When our librarians visit, they will help you order and borrow books from our collection. We are not open for browsing or borrowing outside these hours.

Boort

Closes Friday 19 December, 3.30pm.
